ICD-10

ICD-9-CM codes will be replaced by two new and completely different coding systems: ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS, no later than October 1, 2015. In the words of the AAPC, “We encourage you to keep calm and code on.”

ZHealth’s physician coders and ICD-10 trainer* prepare you for the ICD-10 transition by offering:

  • ICD-10 Readiness – Review of physician documentation to determine if it is sufficient for ICD-10 requirements with a comprehensive analysis of findings.
  • On-Site Education – Dr. Z and Dr. Dunn provide on-site documentation education for physicians and anatomy/physiology education for coding staff.

*AHIMA Approved ICD-10-CM & PCS Trainer; AAPC Approved ICD-10-CM Instructor

The delay in ICD-10 implementation allows you to increase your readiness through education, to review and improve your documentation quality, and adjust your coding and billing procedures. Contact us today to get started.
